The Pull and Bear chain of fashion stores first appears as a result of a strategy of market segmentation initiated by the Inditex Group. This was at a time when men were looking for a basic fashion style influenced by international trends, with the brand quickly adapted totheir needs by respecting three essential factors: fashion, price and quality. The driving force behind Pull & Bear is taking fashion to the general public.
Pull and Bear has expanded from Spain to many countries around the world. It counts more of 440 stores in 24 countries of Europe, South Ameria and Orient. In 1998, the chain opens its clothing line with the label XDYE, where the apparel has got a nore urban and modern mood, which has been a success, introducing also women clothing. Three years later, the brand introced another sublabel also for young people called SICKONINETEEN.
