Tips on Trendtation by B* a La Moda.
Hi everyone!
This is a special video for those of you who are pregnant. If you are not pregnant you can always pass this advice onto friends who are. For those that are pregnant I wish you all the best during this amazing time. Up until the 4 month you don't really notice the bulge. I am 22 weeks and my belly is like this. So now I will have to go for special pants. Today we will talk about how to dress fashionably while pregnant.
Look 1
Here are a pair of very current wide pants. They have a elastic band at the waist and stretch at the ankle. As they are very wide I will pull them up over my belly. I will also try and cover my belly with the top. Choose large, loose sweaters like this. This also has this very fashionable lace at the back. Depending on how long you are going to be on your feet you can always go for some heels. This will help lengthen your figure. This is a look for a night out or even a formal meeting. Using the contrast between the light and dark colors hides the bulge even more. Here is the look with a necklace and bag.
Look 2
This will be a softer more typical pregnant mom look. This blouse is large but still has personality with these vertical pleats. I will tie this belt above my belly to create more shape and make the look a bit better. I went for a more simple knot rather than a fancy bow. These are some very feminine flats for those of you who prefer to wear flat shoes while pregnant. To make the look not too soft I will add this leather jacket. You will find that you won't be able to close your coats but that doesn't matter. It's good to choose smaller bags so you're not carrying much weight.
Look 3
Now for another pair of similar trousers from Zara. These are tighter at the legs. In this case I can't pull them up over my belly as they are not big enough. I will pull it up to the middle of my belly. It's important that the elastic is flexible and adjusts well to lots of belly sizes. If you find a piece that suit you, buy a couple. The contrast of the light color at the back will divert attention away from your belly towards your back. Necklaces worn close to the neck work well. It will help light up your face more. Some brown flats from Zara that were relatively cheap though they have already broken a bit. I added this vintage bag to create a more bohemian look.
Look 4
This time I'm doing 4 looks as us pregnant women are worth it: This top is great as you can use easily wear it throughout the pregnancy. This time we won't try to hide our bulge, we will show it off. I will wear this belt just under the bust before the start of the bulge. It’s better to chose heels that are wider so you are more comfortable. This cardigan is great as it opens up at the bottom to allow space for the belly.
