Tips on Trendtation by B* a La Moda.
Hi Everyone!
This video has been requested a lot and it's about how to wear shorts. The truth is that shorts can combine with absolutely everything. I chose some blue striped shorts for all my combinations. Denim shorts could also work well.
LOOK #1
A basic white T-shirt. It's essential that you have one that fits you well. You could stop here and have a nice simple look but I will try and make some more sophisticated summer looks. I chose a blue waistcoat, which works well with the stripes and the T-shirt. Navy blue and white work very well together, especially in the summer. This pearl necklace is great for this time of year because the pearls reflect the light into your face. White sandals are also an essential for the summer as white shows off your tan. Finally this white bag for the beach and we are ready.
LOOK #2
The advantage of shorts is you can make the look as sophisticated or casual as you like. I am wearing this black sequined top. This will be more a look for a night out. These peep toes, I got in H&M, are great as they have a platform at the ball of the foot so, even though the heels are quite high, they are quite comfortable. They also shows off your toes. I added this party bag. When a top has a nice plunging neckline it's best not to wear a necklace.
LOOK #3
This will be a totally casual look. I'm starting with this tank top. I will add this lightweight tank top. You can always add layers in the summer as long as the fabrics are thin. This look combines light and strong colors. Lightweight scarves can add a lot to the look. This is a simple lightweight scarf you can get very cheaply. I won't wrap it to much around my neck or it would be too hot. I will tie it like this and add a brooch. As you have seen there a different ways to decorate your neck in the summer. Nothing more casual than some converse. I wear them all the time. I chose a long messenger bag which makes the look more casual.
Hope these tricks can be useful when combining your shorts for different kind of looks.
See you soon!
