How to wear your mom's classic clothes

Hey Girls. As you can see I have a different background today. I'm at my parents house and today's
looks will be about my mom's clothes. I will be digging around in her closet and choosing some classic clothes. Let's see what you think!
This is a real challenge since I've realized that my mom has a completely different style to mine. I noticed that my mother is a huge fan of blazers. You can see it for yourself. However she doesn't have any bottoms. She has 2 skirts and 4 pants. She needs to go shopping!
Something else that caught my attention is that she has all kinds of scarfs. They have invaded her wardrobe actually. I think it´s because her friends and family always give her that kind of gift. I wish I liked scarfs more.
LOOK #1
Besides these 2 key items: blazers and scarfs, so I feel more comfortable I started with this fucsia trousers which I lowered a bit so they would look like baggy pants. My mother usually wears them to the waist. These converse are my own. Now comes the belt. My mother doesn´t have fancey belts. They are all pretty classic. I am wearing it at the waist. In this look I want to mix modern (baggy pants and sneakers) with a more classic look and here comes the pearl necklace. They have a strong sentimental value because they belonged to my grandmother.
LOOK #2
Here goes the second classic look. I don´t like pearls in earrings. Another classic for mothers: the brooches. One. Two. Three. Now this BCBG Jacket. I love its color! The shoes match the jacket and
the brooche. I am going to add the scarf that she loves to the bag. Ready to go. For the second look I am going to start with this stripped top. I´m going to add these leg warmers. Then the boots... hat I am not very fond of but I thought they could work. Now comes the blazer. I´m thinking it´s funny that
I choose 2 jackets that I personally bought my mother as a gift. This one is Forever 21. And now, we couldn´t miss the scarf. And this bag that matches all the colors.
We have reached the end I will come back to her closet some other time. I encourage you to visit
your mom´s closet but be careful that she´s not home so she doesn´t get angry.
